30-SEP-2024: myGovID will have a new name
Soon myGovID will have a new name and a new look, see
https://www.mygovid.gov.au/mygovid-changing-myid. The name is changing but not how you use it to access our Self Service Portal. Until the change, you can continue to use myGovID to access our portal. After the change, myGov ID will automatically update on your device to myID or you can find myID in the official app stores (Google Play and the App Store) when it is available. There will be no changes to your login details or identity strength.
13-AUG-2024: The myGovID login screen looks different
The myGovID login screen has recently been updated to improve and modernise the experience when accessing government online services.
You can ensure you’re on the official myGovID login screen by checking the URL displayed in your browser includes
https://www.myGovID.gov.au or
https://myGovID.gov.au
The updates do not impact how you login with your myGovID. You’ll still:
(1) enter your myGovID email address to receive your 4-digit code
(2) log into your myGovID app using your 10-character password, fingerprint or face to enter or accept the 4-digit code.
